About Us

Trent Lundberg, Owner

When Backroom’s founder accepted a job offer in Colorado, close friend Trent Lundberg stepped in to run Backroom’s operations and provide a home to Backroom’s beloved small batch roaster. His love of fresh-roasted coffee and his lifelong passion for cycling made him a natural fit for the role. When he isn’t slinging coffee via the Bean Buggy & promoting Backroom, Trent enjoys mountain biking, going to exotic car shows, concerts & cool new restaurants.




Dow Kerns

Graduating from MSU with a degree in environmental science, Dow spent a few years as the environmental supervisor of the Grand Teton Lodge Company in Jackson, Wyoming. After a few year stint working and playing in the Rocky Mountains, Dow moved back to his hometown of Columbus and joined Backroom. Outside of roasting and delivering beans Dow enjoys skiing, cooking, all things ice hockey and 70’s rock.
